The drama goes back nearly five years.

On October 1, 2017, a 19-year-old young man died after an integration weekend which brought together around 300 people in Pénestin in Morbihan.

Schooled at the dental faculty of Rennes, the student had been found unresponsive in a campsite.

The autopsy revealed that the death was linked to excessive alcohol consumption, with the student displaying a level of 3.7 grams of alcohol per liter of blood.

On April 7, the association organizing the event and its president were prosecuted before the Vannes court for manslaughter.

Justice accused the organizers of breaches of a security obligation.

No medical device had indeed been planned during this integration weekend where alcohol had flowed freely.

No doctor had also been called during the night when the student was feeling unwell.

After three weeks of deliberation, the court sentenced the organizing association to a suspended fine of 15,000 euros, reports
