"Masks for Cows" initiative embarrasses Prince Charles

Britain's Crown Prince Charles' support for Meadow's cow masks aimed at combating climate change has drawn widespread criticism.

The initiative, supported by the British Crown Prince, centers on converting a proportion of the methane gas emitted by cows into carbon dioxide and water vapor through special masks they wear.

The initiative, launched by Startup Zelp, was awarded the Terra Carta Design Lab Award, which forms part of the Prince Charles Initiative for Sustainable Markets.

The award, open to students and alumni of the British Royal College of Art, was presented by the Crown Prince of Britain to 4 recipients, in a special event during which the winners talked with him about their projects.

Prince Charles' support for a wearable methane mask for cows has drawn criticism, after it was described as "ridiculous" and "crazy".

British broadcaster Sophie Corcoran tweeted to express her disbelief about the project, saying: "Prince Charles supports the cow face mask device, which captures methane emissions to stop climate change."

Talk Tv host Mike Graham said of the initiative: "Obviously the masks will prevent the cows from burping, or at least when they burp, the methane gas coming out of their mouths won't pollute the atmosphere."

It is noteworthy that Prince Charles has previously been criticized for his environmental beliefs and initiatives. Broadcaster Alan Techmarsh.

In the documentary, Prince Charles said: "I happily talk to plants and trees, and listen to them, I think this is very important."

Prince Charles has been an ardent speaker against climate change and a proponent of initiatives to reduce greenhouse gases for more than two decades and has become one of the world's leading figures in the fight against climate change, speaking at the 26th Climate Summit last year in 2021 before world leaders.
