“I was put in a punishment cell - it was May 30, 31 - and only on June 1 they brought me to court and said that I had been arrested.
Why didn’t they notify the Russian side and violate fundamental international laws?”
he said.
Yaroshenko added that the Russian consular service found out about everything much later than his wife, who was informed about the incident by the lawyer on duty.
Earlier, after returning to Russia, Yaroshenko said that he had been tortured in the United States.
