It was decided to refer to the Constitutional Review Board by the majority of the members of the Restoration Society and the Democratic Party for the People.

The amendment to the National Voting Law includes relaxation of the requirements for a place of residence to become a witness to voting in order to improve the voting environment in line with the Public Offices Election Law. The party and the Nippon Ishin no Kai submitted it to the House of Representatives.



In response to this, the Liberal Democratic Party proposed to refer to the Constitutional Research Committee at the board of the House of Representatives Steering Committee on the morning of the 28th, saying that "it is important to discuss as soon as possible", while the Constitutional Democratic Party "revised" The proposal does not include advertising restrictions, "and the Communist Party also opposed it.



For this reason, as a result of a vote by the House Steering Committee held after that, it was decided to refer it to the Constitutional Research Committee with the majority of supporters of the Liberal Democratic Party, the Komeito Party, the Nippon Ishin no Kai, and the Democratic Party for the People.
