A young adult aged 18 was sentenced to one year in prison by the Montpellier Criminal Court.

A sentence accompanied entirely by a probationary suspension.

On April 20, he caught the eye of a police patrol because of his illegible license plate.

But instead of responding to the order to stop, he had tried to shake off the officials' vehicle, taking all the risks.

No license, insurance, traces of drugs…

He had taken the one-way streets, blown the stops and hit a pedestrian without stopping.

Fortunately, the victim had only been slightly injured (one day of ITT).

He had finally hit a stationary car and tried to hide at the Polygone.

In vain.

The police then discovered that he was driving without a license and without insurance.

Toxicological analyzes had discovered traces of cannabis in the blood.

In addition to his one-year suspended prison sentence, the court combined his sentence with an obligation to work, compensation for victims and care.
