“In this regard, I ask you to consider the possibility of doubling all cash payments for living war veterans, blockade survivors and other persons who made their feasible contribution to the Victory of the Soviet Union in the Great Patriotic War,” the text of the appeal says.

Veterans of the Great Patriotic War who need better housing conditions can receive housing at the expense of the federal budget.
