It was at 4 pm on Wednesday that the police and ambulance were alerted to Skogsängen in Eskilstuna.
A woman was found dead in an apartment and the police immediately suspected that she had been killed.
During the night, a man in his 20s was arrested in another city and the arrest, according to the police, must have gone smoothly.
- There is a relationship between the victim and the perpetrator, but I can not go into it further, says Christoffer Bohman, head of the investigation section in the Södermanland police area.
The suspect is already known to the police, but according to Christoffer Bohman, there is no criminal history between the victim and the suspected perpetrator.
