It was in 2015 that the woman, who grew up in Linköping, left Sweden for Syria together with two men, who by Säpo were known supporters of IS.

The woman lived in Raqqa with her husband and that was where their daughter was born in 2016.

The following year, the man died in a plane attack and a year later, the woman and her daughter were transferred to a prison camp.

The woman and her daughter were then in the detention camp until they were now deported to Sweden.

The child is cared for

On March 20, the social services in Linköping decided to immediately take care of the woman's now four-year-old daughter.

The Administrative Court states in the decision that there is still uncertainty about the woman's attitude to IS ideology, and that she seems to lack insight into the consequences of the stay in Syria for the child.

The child is therefore cared for in accordance with LVU, the law with special provisions on the care of young people.

The woman has previously been suspected of war crimes, but that investigation has been closed.

The woman denies that she sympathizes with IS.
