Problems with incorrectly parked cars have long existed in Flen.

Already in 2018 and 2019, representatives from the Functional Law Council walked to draw motorists' attention to not parking in places that require a permit.

- Then when we had informed, it got a little better for a while but it does not last.

It was supposed to be promoted every year but it was canceled due to the pandemic.

This week, however, we are back, says Christer Arnrup, vice chairman of the Functional Law Council in Flen.

Problematic for someone with functional variation

Christer Arnrup believes that there are mainly problems with the four parking spaces between the pharmacy and the grocery store in the center, but that other spaces such as at the travel center and the health centers are usually affected by incorrect parking.

- Those who have a parking permit may drive away to a parking lot further away and may get all the way from there instead of being able to park closer.

Not everyone is in a wheelchair, but also those who have great difficulty walking, he says.
