A 31-year-old man resident in Västervik municipality is charged with aggravated rape of a child.
The man was babysitting when he allegedly raped the girl in January this year.
He is also said to have had sexual acts with a dog, according to the indictment.
2000 images of child pornography
The investigation has been able to secure evidence material in the form of, among other things, pictures from the man's mobile phones.
Almost 2000 images of child pornography have been found and there must also be images of the man and the dog.
The man denies the crime.
