China News Service, April 28. According to the US Chinese website, the City of Boston has partnered with non-profit organizations and four large top hospitals to provide immigrants with a background in the healthcare industry with job opportunities in Boston hospitals.

Many immigrants with professional skills such as health care face many challenges in the United States, according to the Boston Mayor's Office of Immigration.

Many people have previous work experience in other countries, but it is difficult to find the same job in the United States.

At the same time, the healthcare industry needs the skills and diversity of immigrants to reduce racial disparities.

The city hopes that this program will not only help bridge this gap, but also allow foreign-trained professionals to gain relevant training and work experience in the U.S. healthcare industry to help advance their careers.

Qualified personnel must first pass free pre-job training in May.

Beginning in August, she was assigned to a three-month paid job at a hospital in Boston.

The hospitals are Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Boston Medical Center, Boston Children's Hospital, and Massachusetts General Hospital Brigham and Women's Hospital.

All work in the hospital is non-clinical.

The pay for these jobs is $20 an hour, up to a maximum of 30 hours a week.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the hospital's working methods include on-site work, hybrid or remote.

There are 25 jobs available, including 15 for Boston residents.

Applicants must first demonstrate that they are immigrants, have a high school education or higher, be able to legally work in Boston, have some health care experience, including education or job-specific training, and lastly, proof of English language proficiency.
