Today, Thursday, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will start an official visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, at the invitation of Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz.

The Turkish presidency said in a statement that the visit will last for two days, and that Erdogan will discuss aspects of bilateral relations between Ankara and Riyadh and discuss possibilities for developing cooperation between the two countries.

The statement added that President Erdogan will exchange views with the Saudi king on international and regional affairs.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan's office said the president will travel to Saudi Arabia for a two-day visit, in the culmination of Ankara's months-long efforts to repair relations with Riyadh.
