  Li Jinyong, born on September 5, 1925 in Zaoyang County, Hubei Province (now Zaoyang City), is a master of Chinese medicine, a famous contemporary Chinese medicine scientist, and one of the top ten "models of Chinese medicine" in the country.

He began to engage in TCM education in 1957. He pioneered the research method of traditional Chinese medicine and classics to sort out and study classical medical records, and explored and improved the classical theoretical system of TCM. In the early 1960s, he established his status as a giant in TCM.

  At the beginning of the establishment of Hubei University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Professor Li Jinyong set up an account to teach apprentices.

For more than 60 years, the garden is full of peaches and plums, many of which have become the mainstay of Chinese medicine.

He is the founder of the school's "Neijing" discipline, and the pioneer of the national "Golden Chamber" discipline.

  On the basis of profound theoretical foundation, Professor Li Jinyong interprets the true meaning of syndrome differentiation and treatment, and advocates that "the prescription is not big, the syndrome is effective, the medicine is not expensive, and the middle disease is the cure", and at the same time believes that "Chinese medicine should be modernized in the face of oriental culture. He has authored 10 monographs such as "Hundred Years of Chinese Medicine Clinicians Li Jinyong" and "Research on Ancient Medical Books", independently compiled many textbooks and teaching reference books, and published more than 300 academic papers.
