C4: suspense intact between AS Roma and Leicester, as between OM and Feyenoord

The four teams still involved in this new event created this season by UEFA can still qualify for the final in Tirana on 25 May, in Albania.

In Rotterdam, the two teams were tied 2-2 at the break, Bamba Dieng (28th) and Gerson (40th) having replied for OM to the achievements of Dessers (18th) and Luis Sinisterra (20th), the two best players of the Dutch club.

But a hazardous back pass from Duje Caleta-Car, from the start of the second period, was intercepted by Cyriel Dessers (46th), author of a double thus allowing Feyenoord to win this very intense match from the end at the end.

Marseille goalkeeper Steve Mandanda, who was playing his 100th European match (including 49 in the Champions League), was several times decisive in saving his team against the often dangerous Dutch.

Meanwhile in England, Leicester and AS Roma neutralized each other.

José Mourinho's Giallorossi opened the scoring in the first half on a counter-attack by their captain Lorenzo Pellegrini, well launched from deep by Nicola Zalewski, who crossed his shot to adjust the goalkeeper (1-0, 15th).

The Foxes then equalized at the start of the second period, thanks to Ademola Lookman who took over a center from midfielder Harvey Barnes (1-1, 67th).

Everything remains open in the two semi-finals of this C4, next Thursday, in Rome and Marseille, to obtain their ticket for the final of the Europa League Conference on May 25.
