A 9-year-old boy is currently in a coma at Necker Hospital in Paris.

This Tuesday, he was hit by an RATP bus in Chaville (Hauts-de-Seine) shortly before 6 p.m., near a school, reports

The child was conscious when rescued.

He had severe head trauma and difficulty breathing, in addition to bruising and bleeding from the ears.

According to the first elements, the bus was traveling at low speed at the time of the events.

Anger of the inhabitants

The victim would have crossed at a run, a few meters from the pedestrian crossing.

The driver would have barely had time to brake.

But some residents have long been asking for the premises to be made secure.

One of them assures that there is a real problem related to speed on this avenue.

He would have contacted the mayor, the public establishment Grand Paris Seine Ouest (GPSO) but also the prefecture.

The mayor (DVD) of Chaville explained that this road came under the department and that he had already alerted the president of the departmental council about it.
