The Yemeni government submits a proposal to restart Sana'a Airport

The Yemeni government presented a new proposal to overcome the passport crisis that impeded the operation of Sanaa Airport, which includes the establishment of a passport issuance center at Sanaa Airport in coordination with the United Nations, provided that operation begins within 10 days of the agreement.

The proposal included the issuance of passports for travelers who are forced to travel from unliberated areas, in coordination with the Office of the UN Envoy within 5 days of sending applications that fulfill the documents and conditions, as well as allocating booths in the automated passport issuance center in Aden to speed up and facilitate the issuance of passports to Yemeni citizens from areas under the control of the Houthi militia.

The proposal also included sending people's data and copies of their expired passports within the 2014 database through the envoy's office to the interest center in Aden, and the passports will be renewed within 24 hours.

The agreement comes within the framework of overcoming the current crisis caused by the Houthi militias, which led to the obstruction of the first flight from Sanaa International Airport, in accordance with the declared UN armistice agreement.

Regarding field violations of the truce, the Yemeni forces announced that they had monitored 181 new violations of the UN truce committed by Houthi militias during the past two days in Taiz, Al-Hodeidah, Hajjah, Marib, Al-Jawf, Al-Dhalea, Abyan and Saada.

The violations ranged from shooting, repositioning and creating positions, sending combat reinforcements and weapons, and flying reconnaissance and attack drones over Yemeni army positions on the western coast and Marib.

The front of the Ramli axis in southern Marib witnessed confrontations between the two sides after the Houthis attempted to infiltrate towards army positions in Qarn al-Bor and al-Faliha, which prompted the latter to confront it.

In Al-Jawf, the militias attacked the oil and gas locomotives heading towards the center of the governorate and prevented them from passing, while the clashes between the tribes of Bani Nouf and the militias returned and were concentrated in the "Al-Farayed" area northwest of Al-Labanat camp, located along the desert line.

Local sources said that clashes took place between the two sides for a full hour in the area, in which five Houthis were killed, and one tribesman was killed, as well as wounded on both sides.

In Al-Dhalea, militia snipers killed two brothers, "Yahya and Suleiman Ali Al-Zuhri" while shepherding sheep in the village of "Al-Kharaza" in the Qataba District, north of the governorate. north of the city.

In Hadhramaut, Yemeni security forces raided one of the dens of al-Qaeda in the "Sadaf" area, which led to the death of a leader of the terrorist organization, while another leader of the organization was killed in Al-Bayda Governorate.
