The UN World Tourism Organization said that Russia intends to withdraw from it

"Russia has announced its intention to withdraw from the UNWTO," the organization said in a statement.

This process must follow due process and will take a year, but the suspension of membership is effective immediately, UNWTO said.

On April 7, Deputy Permanent Representative of Russia to the UN Gennady Kuzmin announced that the Russian side was terminating its powers in the UNHRC ahead of schedule.

Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev questioned the viability of the UN Human Rights Council after Russia's withdrawal from it.
