During Ekot's Saturday interview, Ebba Busch questioned why the police did not respond with fire during the Easter riots.

- Why do we not have 100 injured Islamists, 100 injured criminals, 100 injured insurgents?

So the question that should be asked, is why is it not shot sharply?

And it is a question that Swedish police management owes Sweden, said the KD leader.

The statement has attracted a lot of attention, and among other things has been criticized by the Police Association's chairman Lena Nitz.

But it's not just Ebba Busch who wants to see tougher grip with police.

Just days before her statement, Dick Erixon, editor-in-chief of Samtiden, wrote an editorial entitled "The police must be allowed to shoot to kill".

- Yes, that headline was pointed.

But the police must be given stronger tools when it comes to situations like this, and that was probably what Ebba Busch also had as a point.

That it is unacceptable for the police to back down when there is a riot and let rioters take over territories in Sweden, says Dick Erixon in Politikbyrån and continues:

- Law enforcement must maintain law and order and also be able to quell riots even if there are many people involved.

"Learn from each other"

How much do you think KD looks at SD and your newspaper?

- Lol.

I do not know.

But there is a discussion among the opposition parties where they have a similar view of what is important to maintain in Swedish society.

That's why you learn from each other well, that's right.

At the same time, there is silence in the public opinion situation, despite the fact that issues that traditionally benefit the right-wing parties - such as law and order and the defense - have been on the agenda.

Dick Erixon believes that the riots will lead to an increase in opinion for the right-wing opposition.

"Is there a certain frustration"

Hampus Knutsson, former head of communications at the Moderates and expert on crisis management, believes that there is frustration among the Moderates, which is the largest opposition party.

- I naturally think that there is a certain frustration within the party that the public opinion situation does not rise further.

These crises, which we have been through and which are going on right now, seem to benefit the government much more than the opposition.

There are a lot of things that really mean that the opposition should benefit a lot, he says in Politikbyrån.
