Putin vows "quick and lightning" response to any foreign interference in Ukraine

Russian President Vladimir Putin on Wednesday warned against any outside interference in the conflict in Ukraine, vowing a "quick and lightning" response.

"If someone intends to interfere from abroad in what is happening in Ukraine and present unacceptable threats to Russia, they should know that our response will be swift and shocking," Putin told the Russian parliament.

According to him, Russia will not hesitate to use its latest weapons.

"We have all this equipment that no one can brag about now," he said. "We are not going to be bragging and we will use it if we have to. And I want everyone to know that."

He added that all decisions in this regard have been taken.
