Putin stated this during a meeting with members of the Council of Legislators at the Federal Assembly of Russia.

“We will respond to rude, often clumsy external restrictions, to the destruction of all civilized rights and agreements, to attempts to isolate us with greater freedom of entrepreneurship, openness to honest partnership, respect and reliable protection of owners and bona fide investors,” the president said.

Earlier, the head of state noted that Russia was facing unprecedented sanctions pressure from the West.

First Deputy Russian Permanent Representative to the UN Dmitry Polyansky said that the Russian economy is successfully coping with Western sanctions pressure.
