According to Belik, the announcement of such a decision on the Day of Russian parliamentarism can be called symbolic.

According to him, instead of striving to build a dialogue with their own constituents and listen to their requests, members of the British House of Commons "plunged headlong into the establishment of large-scale sanctions against our country."

“Official London received a natural mirror response from our country,” the deputy stressed.

The parliamentarian added that persons “leading an anti-Russian policy and in every possible way inciting Russophobia” have nothing to do on the territory of the Russian Federation.

Earlier, the Russian Foreign Ministry announced the introduction of retaliatory personal restrictions against 287 members of the House of Commons of the British Parliament.

This decision was made in connection with the sanctions of London against 386 deputies of the State Duma.

On March 11, the British Foreign Office announced that London had imposed sanctions against 386 deputies of the State Duma of Russia who voted for the independence of the DPR and LPR.
