Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi announced the reactivation of the work of the presidential pardon committee, which was formed in late 2016, stressing that the nation accommodates everyone and that differences of opinion do not spoil the nation's cause, as he put it.

Al-Sisi expressed his happiness at the release of a batch of detainees from Egypt during the past days.

And Egyptian human rights and political sources said last Sunday that the Public Prosecution decided to release 41 people, including activists, two days after Sisi spoke about the country's need for a political dialogue.

Al-Sisi said during the Egyptian family's breakfast party, that what was shown in the TV series "The Choice 3" is exactly what happened in reality at that time.

He revealed the assignment of the National Youth Congress Administration, in coordination with the various political parties and youth, to conduct a political dialogue on the priorities of national action during the current stage, and to submit the results of this dialogue to him personally.

He indicated that on a personal level, he is keen to activate political reform programmes, but there were priorities in national action during the last period, according to the official news agency.

He added, "We would like to launch a dialogue for all political forces and present its results to the House of Representatives and the Senate for further discussion so that it will be activated with the launch of the new republic."

In 2021, Sisi said that the new administrative capital is a declaration of the new republic after a difficult period in Egypt.

The Egyptian family breakfast party, which has been held annually since 2017, witnessed a wide participation of public figures, citizens, heads of political parties, members of the House of Representatives, the Senate and ministers, according to the Egyptian newspaper Al-Ahram.

The newspaper pointed out that Sisi welcomed, during the ceremony, the politician Hamdeen Sabahi (his rival in the 2014 presidential elections), the opposition journalist Khaled Daoud, and the opposition director Khaled Youssef, after his participation in the breakfast.

On the other hand, the head of the Union of Egyptian Forces, Ayman Nour, said that no political party was invited to participate in the political dialogue announced by Sisi.

Ayman Nour added in an interview with Al Jazeera that Sisi promised to present the details of this dialogue during the Egyptian family's breakfast, but what has been presented so far does not live up to the level of details, as he put it.
