She embezzled, for years, the receipts from the school canteen, as well as part of the money from the rental of the village hall, which she also managed.
A municipal account of which she alone was aware, made it possible to "launder the money" before it was transferred to the defendant's family account.
Each year, the employee presented a false balance sheet to the municipal council, and the real one to the prefecture, details the regional daily.

The now ex-employee of the town hall will have to reimburse the 186,384.71 euros to the municipality.
At the hearing, a few weeks ago, the respondent explained that it had “come to him like that, I needed it.
