Wednesday morning will be sunny over most of the country with the exception of southern Aquitaine where gray weather will give a little rain, announces Météo France.

Gradually the sky will become cloudy up to the Garonne valley, showers will break out in the Pyrenees and then spread to the plains of the south-west in the afternoon.

They may locally mingle with thunderstorms.

Grisailles sometimes lined with fogs

From Brittany to Poitou-Charentes and as far as Occitania, the sky will cloud over but will remain bright.

On the rest of the country, the day will most often be sunny.

In the morning, gray clouds sometimes lined with fog will drag from the north of the Seine to the northeast, as well as on the Côte d'Azur and the east of Corsica.

The afternoon will continue under a cloudy sky in harmless cumulus clouds from Normandy and from the north of the Seine to the Grand Est.

Clouds will also bud over the southern Alps to the Var hinterland.

The sun will dominate elsewhere.

The northeast wind will blow noticeably over the entire northeast quarter of France.

It will approach 50/60 km/h in gusts on the Channel coasts.

24 degrees max

At daybreak, it will be between 7 and 12 degrees on the shores of the Mediterranean, on the southwest and the Atlantic coast.

Elsewhere, minimum temperatures will be between 1 and 6 degrees.

During the day, the maximum will show 16 to 21 degrees in general, 13 to 17 on the edge of the Channel, but sometimes 22 to 24 in the south-east and in the Charente departments north of Midi-Pyrénées.
