The Coop store in Tystberga, between Nyköping and Trosa, is open 24 hours a day and partly staffed.
The time with a completely unmanned store showed that the demand for food was there at all hours of the day.
Then the idea was born to continue open at night and the combination makes it the chain's first of its kind in the whole country.
