Aged 19 and now ranked 11th in the world, her best career ranking, Raducanu is due to play the Madrid Open on clay this week to continue preparing for Roland Garros, but she says she feels the need for a "new training model.

In the meantime, the head coach of the British federation (LTA), Iain Bates, will take care of the champion this week in Spain, after her defeat in the quarter-finals last week in Stuttgart against the world No.1, Poland's Iga Swiatek, who went on to win the tournament.

"I want to thank Torben for his involvement for almost six months. He has a huge heart and I really appreciated the chemistry that was created between us," Raducanu said on social media.

Beltz previously coached compatriot and ex-world No.1 Angelique Kerber during her time winning the Australian Open and US Open in 2016.

Before Beltz, Raducanu replaced Nigel Sears with Andrew Richardson after Wimbledon last year, but she did not renew Richardson's contract after surprisingly winning the last US Open on his advice.

Raducanu could turn to the Italian Riccardo Piatti, former coach, among others, of the Frenchman Richard Gasquet, former world No.7, and the Canadian Milos Raonic, Wimbledon finalist in 2016.

Piatti has just parted ways with his young compatriot Jannik Sinner after taking him to the World Top 10.

Raducanu trained at her academy before starting her clay-court season.
