The application that came in on Tuesday morning concerns an election meeting for the right-wing extremist party Tight Course.

The application is valid on May 1 in Uppsala.

But Paludan tells SVT Uppsala that he has considered postponing the meeting until the end of April, Saturday, instead of May 1 if he gets permission.

This is done in dialogue with the police in that case.

- There are also a lot of people in Uppsala on Saturday.

What do you do if you do not get permission - should you hold the meeting anyway?

- You can have a meeting even without a permit, but I do not think I will have a meeting if there is no permit.

But it will be more that maybe another day I can walk along the main street in Uppsala and talk to people.

It is probably these large gatherings that it is probably best that I apply for a permit.

Then if it is denied - then the courts must decide what applies, says Rasmus Paludan.

Uppsala Police is currently processing the application.
