Since the 2018 election, six of the eight members of the Stockholm City Council have resigned or been expelled from the party.

Most recently, the group leader was Peter Wallmark.

Since the party entered the Riksdag in 2010, more than 300 exclusion cases have taken place in the country.

- All exclusions come from potential new voters, they do not think it is a serious party simply, says Pontus Mattsson who is a political reporter at Swedish Radio and who has written several books about SD.
