There is rubbish, empty bottles of alcohol and leftovers everywhere.

For every door Tetiana Khodochencko opens, and in every corner she looks, she is shocked again.

- Look here they have stood and cut their hair, and there they have peed in a water cup!

exclaims Tetiana Khodochencko.

About a hundred in the shelter

In early March, she, along with hundreds of others, hid in the basement of the building when there was a sudden knock on the steel door.

- We opened and I begged them not to shoot us.

Then a soldier replied that we should not be worried that they are not fascists.

But we were ordered to stay in the basement, says Tetiana Khodochencko.

"They thought they had won"

For four days they remained while the soldiers were in the building.

- We asked if we could boil water so that we could prepare food for the youngest.

We had to do that, they were kind to us, says Tetiana Khodochencko.

Finally, they all had to leave the basement.

- This was at the beginning of the war and they thought they had already won.

That's why they were not so aggressive towards us.

Had it happened later, they would have killed us all, she says.

Low stools everywhere

The building consists of several floors and the soldiers used the site as their base until the Russian troops withdrew from the Kiev area in early April.

When SVT Nyheter is in place, it is the first time that Tetiana Khodochencko sees her workplace since she left the basement in March.

On the second floor, where there are usually offices, large arrows have been painted on the walls.

These lead to rooms that have been used as toilets and there is feces everywhere.

After inspecting the third floor, Tetiana Khodochencko finally gets enough.

But before she leaves, she starts filling water bottles and starts watering the dried plants.

- I can not stand to see them like this.
