The Blue House said today (26th), "Please understand that it is difficult to answer a petition asking for a fact-finding investigation into the alleged misconduct of the Busan Savings Bank in the past by President-elect Yoon Seok-yeol.

In response to today's public petition, the Blue House said, "The Blue House has not responded to matters under investigation or trial in accordance with the principle of separation of powers."

Earlier, a petitioner demanded a thorough examination of the allegations of the president-elect Yoon's investigation into the Busan Savings Bank insolvency and the stock price manipulation of the president-elect's wife, Kim Kun-hee.

The petition was signed by 548,000 people.

Suspicion of the Busan Savings Bank investigation was raised during the presidential election, and the Democratic Party of Korea argued that the investigation of the president-elect Yoon, who was the chief prosecutor at the time of the investigation at the Busan Savings Bank, was the root of the suspicion of Daehang-dong.

On the other hand, People's Power has pointed to former candidate Lee Jae-myung of the Democratic Party of Korea as the body of the Daejang-dong suspicion.
