“Uruguay has not imposed and does not support any type of economic sanctions against Russia,” Castillos said in an interview with La Ere newspaper, TASS quoted.
He noted that the goal of Uruguay is to restore trade with Russia and strengthen it.
Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a law on the ratification of the agreement on social security between Russia and Uruguay.
