According to her, Zagreb refused the Russian side to carry out a humanitarian flight to evacuate a group of employees of the Russian Embassy in Croatia and their families.
She noted that these are people whom Croatia has ordered to leave the country.
“The inhumane, mocking attitude towards our fellow citizens will not remain without a worthy response,” Zakharova said in a statement on the Foreign Ministry website.
Earlier it was reported that Croatia is demanding the expulsion of 18 diplomats and six administrative staff of the Russian embassy.
The Russian Foreign Ministry promised to give an appropriate response to the expulsion of diplomats.
