Following the results of the second round of the presidential election, Vladimir Putin sent his congratulations to his French counterpart, Emmanuel Macron, re-elected President of the Republic for five years.
Russian President Vladimir Putin on Monday sent his congratulations to his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron re-elected the day before, wishing him "success" for his new mandate, despite the high tensions linked to Ukraine, according to the Kremlin.
"I sincerely wish you success in your public action, as well as good health," Mr. Putin said in a telegram sent to Mr. Macron.
