Forest fire is suspected to have been started - discovered with drones

- Strong smoke smell was over Hovmantorp during the morning.

So we went out with the station's drone and managed to locate the fire a couple of kilometers away, says operations manager Fredrik Stjärnebring.

The fire is estimated to be 600 times 600 meters, with flames up to 20 meters.

According to the rescue service, this is the year's first major forest fire in the county.

- Now helicopters from Stockholm will enter the hard-to-reach areas, and they will mark the terrain, says Fredrik Stjärnebring.
