show , were arrested at a polling station in Fresnes (Val-de-Marne) this Sunday.

The troublemakers burst into the premises, wreaking havoc among the assessors and voters during the second round of the presidential election.

A fourth person wore a security armband, while a fifth filmed the scene, which ended with a police intervention and widespread detention.

An investigation for "disorder of the electoral operations by crowd, clamor and threat" was opened.

The five comedians face a two-year prison sentence, a fine of 15,000 euros, deprivation of voting rights and five years of ineligibility.
