Seventy-five years before the Constitution came into force, the Constitutional Democratic Party held the first local dialogue rally in Miyazaki City, hoping to hear the public's opinions directly on the Constitution.

At the rally, former representative Edano, who has led the party's constitutional debate, gave a lecture, saying, "If you do not discuss on the premise of the basic mechanism such as what is protected by the constitution, only emotional theory and assumptions will be discussed. Then, it is quite difficult, "he explained, and that it is possible to respond to emergencies even with the current constitution.

After that, a question and answer session was held with the participants, and regarding the convocation of the extraordinary Diet session based on Article 53, Mr. Edano said, "If the deadline is not written and the power thinks that it is better not to hold the Diet session." We will not convene. The only way to stop this is the power of democracy, such as getting back in the elections. "

The Constitutional Democratic Party is planning to hold rallies in Aichi, Hokkaido, and Yamanashi prefectures by June this year.
