On the afternoon of the 25th, President Moon Jae-in will hold a meeting and invitation event for the reporters on the grounds of the Blue House.

At this meeting, which is held about half a week before his term in office, President Moon is expected to reveal his thoughts on state affairs over the past five years.

In particular, attention is paid to whether to accept the resignation of Prosecutor General Oh-soo Kim, who once again expressed his resignation to the so-called 'check-and-dash' legislation, whether to grant amnesty to former President Lee Myung-bak, and what position he will reveal on pending issues such as inter-Korean relations.

It is the first time this year that President Moon has met with the reporters who have not held a New Year's press conference, and it has been about a year since the press conference for the 4th anniversary of his inauguration in May of last year.
