An opinion poll conducted by Insights TN indicated a sharp decline in the popularity of Tunisian President Kais Saied to its lowest level since his election in 2019, coinciding with the escalation of the political and economic crisis in the country.

The poll, which was published by the Foundation on its Twitter account, showed that the popular support for President Qais Saeed amounted to 23.2% on February 16.

A graph published by the Foundation showed a significant decrease in the percentage of popular support for President Saeed, as it reached 49.8% last August and then shrank to 42.9% in September to reach the lowest levels last year in November, reaching 29.1%.

The poll data also showed a state of near-equal popular support for former Minister of Health Abdel Latif El-Makki and head of the Free Constitutional Party, Abeer Moussa.
