Saturday, around 8:30 p.m., a 21-year-old young man was hit by a train in Nantes (Loire-Atlantique).

The accident, the circumstances of which are still unknown, took place very close to the station, at the entrance to the Chantenay railway tunnel.

The victim died, despite the intervention of the emergency services on the spot.

Train traffic was interrupted for more than two hours on this track.
