As soon as he was re-elected, employers' organizations were quick to congratulate Emmanuel Macron, often perceived as the president of the rich, and sometimes even of the bosses.

They nevertheless insisted on the reforms to be carried out according to them.

“Congratulations”, tweeted the president of Medef Geoffroy Roux de Bézieux.

“Europe, employment, growth, ecological transition: the sites are ahead of you.

It's urgent !

However, warned the boss of bosses, stating that within the organization “we are ready”.

Congratulations @EmmanuelMacron on his re-election.

The Union of Employers of the Social and Solidarity Economy (UDES), which had explicitly called on the French to "block the National Rally and the far right", was delighted "that the majority of the French have moved to exercise their right to vote", and took the opportunity to ask the re-elected president "the creation of a ministry delegated to the social and solidarity economy at Bercy, as well as the holding of a social and environmental conference".

“What will change – for the better – under the new five-year term for entrepreneurs?

This was not mentioned during the campaign…”, lamented, for its part, the employers' movement Ethic, warning that “the expectation is stronger than ever”.
