A car attending a motor show in Oslo, Norway slammed into a crowd of visitors on Sunday, injuring six including a child, all of whom were taken to hospital for examinations, police said.

“Six people were taken to hospital for examinations,” Oslo police said on Twitter, without specifying the severity of their injuries or giving any indication of the cause of the accident.

According to media reports, the six injured, including a child, were conscious after the accident, which happened during a demonstration in a parking lot.


Videos showed a car backing up at high speed, with the driver appearing to have lost control of the vehicle as it slammed into the crowd standing next to the parking lot.
