Yoko Ishikura, the chief digital officer of the Digital Agency, has indicated his resignation due to poor physical condition, so the government is making adjustments to replace it soon.

With the establishment of the Digital Agency in September last year, Yoko Ishikura was appointed as the first "Chief Digital Officer" at the top of the office.



According to government officials, Mr. Ishikura has resigned because of her poor physical condition, and the government is making adjustments to replace her soon.



Mr. Ishikura is expected to retire more than half a year after her inauguration.



The government is coordinating to appoint a replacement from a Digital Agency executive.
