“The rubble has been cleared for four days, while the bodies of 11 civilians have been found,” TASS reports.

Earlier, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov commented on the situation with the maternity hospital in Mariupol.

According to him, “this maternity hospital has long been captured by the Azov battalion and other radicals, from where all the women in labor, all the nurses and, in general, all the attendants were expelled.”

Prior to this, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported that the militants of the Ukrainian national battalions Azov and Aidar had equipped positions in schools, hospitals, maternity hospitals and kindergartens and were firing at the People’s Militia from there.

The Russian Defense Ministry also denied Kyiv's statements about an alleged air strike on the building of a drama theater in Mariupol, where civilians could be held hostage.

The department reported that the Azov militants committed a "new bloody provocation" by blowing up the theater building mined by them.
