  It is reported that the temporary testing point opened on July 9, 2021, with a total area of ​​660 square meters, a total of 19 tents and 8 containers, including the check-in area, sample area, warehouse, lounge, etc., and a total of 258,000 people have been tested. The highest daily number of tests was 2,779 (January 28, 2022).

After the temporary nucleic acid testing point in Seoul Plaza is dismantled, the Seoul Metropolitan Government will temporarily operate the "City Government Direct Inspection Center" in Cheonggye Plaza.

  In addition, the Seoul Metropolitan Government announced that it will hold an outdoor library activity in the square from the 23rd to help citizens gradually return to their daily lives.

This also marks the first time that Seoul Plaza has restarted outdoor activities in two years.

The reading activity will be held every Friday and Saturday from 11:00 to 16:00 from April to June and from September to October.

  Starting from the 18th of this month, South Korea has fully lifted social distancing measures such as business hours for public gathering places and restrictions on members of private gatherings, events and gatherings, and people have begun to return to normal life.
