“I will, firstly, appeal against this decision as illegal, and, secondly, I am going to sue (lawyers look at) the person who wrote this decision for slander, for insulting my honor and dignity,” he said in a comment to RIA Novosti.
Venediktov noted that he tried to leave for St. Petersburg for a few days, but now, apparently, plans will have to be revised.
Earlier it became known that the Ministry of Justice of Russia included Alexei Venediktov, Alexander Nevzorov* and Sergey Parkhomenko* in the register of foreign media agents.
In total, on April 22, eight people were added to this list.
