Absent from his trial

This is the second time he has been arrested, again by police officers from the Central Office for the Fight against Organized Crime (OCLCO).

After his first arrest in 2019, he was placed in detention before being released under judicial supervision.

It was there that he had fled.

A European arrest warrant had been issued against him.

Michaël Turan was therefore not present at his trial, where six of his accomplices were also tried.

Arnaud Mimran, who benefited from the financial operations imposed on the victim, was sentenced to 13 years in prison during this hearing.

It is now Michaël Turan who will serve his sentence, now that the authorities have got their hands on him.
