“The court sentenced him to three years of suspended liberty with a two-year probationary period,” RIA Novosti quotes him as saying.

On November 25, the State Duma during a meeting approved the removal of parliamentary immunity from Rashkin in connection with the case of illegal elk hunting.

As the investigation established, on the night of October 28-29 in the Saratov region, Rashkin, armed with a carbine, without a permit for the extraction of hunting resources, "carried out a search, tracking and hunting of an elk."

The prosecutor requested three and a half years of probation for Rashkin in the case of illegal hunting in the Saratov region.
