  The report quoted the Russian Ministry of Defense as saying that on the 13th of this month, the "Moscow" missile cruiser caught fire and caused an explosion of ammunition, causing serious damage to the hull.

During the rescue of the ship, one person died and 27 others were missing.

The remaining 396 crew members were evacuated to other ships of the Russian Black Sea Fleet nearby and sent to Sevastopol.

The Russian Ministry of Defense will provide all necessary support and assistance to the families of the victims and missing persons.

The message did not mention the cause of the fire on the guided-missile cruiser "Moscow".
