“The leadership of most EU countries, by their actions, indulges open Russophobia, which manifests itself, for example, in the cultural, humanitarian and sports spheres,” the presidential press service said after his telephone conversation with Michel.

Deputy Speaker of the Federation Council Konstantin Kosachev noted that due to Russophobia in Western countries, it is necessary to be prepared for any options, and in some cases, “the evacuation of fellow citizens may be required.”

Alexander Nurizade, director of the Russian Foreign Ministry's department for work with compatriots abroad, said that Russophobia has assumed an unprecedented character and is already becoming the political ideology of a number of states.

For example, Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki admitted that Russophobia has become mainstream in his country.
