Voting intentions for the second round of the 2022 presidential election

According to a latest poll by the

Ipsos

institute carried out on April 21 the day after the debate between the two rounds, Emmanuel Macron would still be leading the polls with 57.5% of voting intentions in the second round.

A less severe observation for the

Oxoda

institute according to a last poll carried out the same day, where this time Marine Le Pen would collect nearly 47% of voting intentions.

Still, for this last week of the campaign, the majority of polling institutes give the outgoing president the winner for the second round.

Thus the Elabe Institute would grant him 54.5% of voting intentions in a poll dated April 19.

The Opinion Way institute would give Emmanuel Macron the winner with 56% of the voting intentions.

Finally, according to the latest statement from Ifop-Fiducial, Marine Le Pen would gather 45.5% of the voting intentions.

What did the second round polls show for the 2017 presidential election?

During the inter-rounds of the 2017 presidential election, the situation was more severe in the voting intentions for Marine Le Pen.

Thus, most of the institutes presented in the graph below granted him 37% to 38% of voting intentions on the eve of the second round.
